Trustfulness
Allah [may He be Glorified] said: "O you who believe! Betray not Allâh and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly your Amânât (things entrusted to you, and all the duties which Allâh has ordained for you)" (8:27) Commentary: In this verse Allah commands His servants the believers to discharge the trusts which Allah [may He be Glorified] entrusts them of His orders and prohibitions. Trust is of great importance; when Allah proposed it to the heavens, the earth and the mountains, "they declined to bear it and were afraid of it. But man bore it. Indeed, he was very unjust and ignorant." So, he who keeps the trust and performs it will have the great reward from Allah. On the contrary, he who betrays the trust and neglects it will be punished with severe punishment and will be branded as betrayer of Allah and His Messenger and of the trusts put under his responsibility.
